13/11/09 Letterpress

On Friday a small group of us went to a letterpress workshop in Hoxton to experience the process hands on. We were asked to create a poster which outlined 'How to make design successful'. After much deliberation we decided that the most obvious reminder to accomplish a successful design piece is to simply do the design again, and again, and again, and again...

So we all created our separate blocks of 'and again'(s) and then put them all together to make a poster. I had an amazing time at the workshop and loved getting my hands dirty with the tiny metal fonts and the inks. Hopefully we'll get to go back there one day for round 2!
